Over the years we always looked for ways to expand our business into new areas. Five years ago we moved our performance and customization operation to our facility in Adel and last year we broke ground on our newest endeavor, storage. We broke ground on a new facility in Adel designed to house all of our loyal customer's toys and built the storage building.
With the help of our friends at Cover Construction and Keeny Excavation, construction completed in November 2019, a little late in the season but we were still able to fill the barn for the coming winter. This was phase 1 of a larger project that will take a few years to complete.
This year we started on phase 2 of the plan. With the large building and the driveway done we took to expanding the parking lot to allow for outdoor storage on hardtop. We are using recycled asphalt millings for the parking and storage area so our customers don't have to worry about keeping their campers, boats, and trailers on dirt or grass.
In this photo we have some of the preliminary work done. The ground was torn up and we are getting it ready to lay the first layer of gravel that goes under the millings. If the weather is kind to us we hope to have the new addition completed by June.
